Benfica B winger Ivan Lima is being linked with a move to Turkish side Trabzonspor, with the Super Lig club reportedly tracking the 21-year-old’s progress in Liga Portugal 2.

The Portuguese-born wide player, who represents both Portugal and São Tomé and Príncipe at nationality level, is currently on the books of Benfica B and is listed with a market value of €500,000. Transfermarkt data notes interest from Trabzonspor, although the probability of any deal is marked only as “?”, underlining the tentative nature of the speculation and the absence of concrete negotiations in the public domain.

Lima has no stated contract expiry date with Benfica B in the available data, raising the possibility that he could become a free agent if his situation in Lisbon is not clarified. That uncertainty may encourage clubs such as Trabzonspor to position themselves early should Benfica decide not to tie him down on a longer-term agreement.

A right-footed left winger, Lima has come through the Benfica system step by step, moving from SL Benfica Youth to the U15s in 2018, then progressing through the U17, U19 and U23 sides before reaching Benfica B ahead of the 2024–25 season. His market value has risen sharply in recent updates, climbing from €200,000 in June 2025 to €500,000 by December 2025, suggesting his performances in Portugal’s second tier have not gone unnoticed.

Born in Lisboa on 13 January 2005 and standing at 1.74m, Lima wears the number 90 shirt for Benfica B. A potential switch to Trabzonspor and the Süper Lig would represent his first move away from Portugal and his first experience of top-flight football, and, if it materialises, could prove a pivotal step in defining his long-term career trajectory and reputation in European football.
