Randal Kolo Muani’s difficult spell at Tottenham Hotspur could be nearing an early conclusion, with reports suggesting the France international is already being lined up for a potential return to Italy just six months into his loan stay in north London.
The 27-year-old, who has Congolese roots, arrived at Spurs with high expectations, but his Premier League campaign has unravelled into one of frustration and missed opportunities. Despite being handed 15 league appearances,
Kolo Muani has failed to register a single top-flight goal, a return that has raised serious questions about his suitability for the demands of English football and Tottenham’s attacking structure.
According to reports from Italy, Juventus are monitoring the situation closely and are keen on re-signing the striker for the second half of the season.
The Turin giants believe Kolo Muani could rediscover the form that made him such an effective presence during his previous stint in Serie A, where he enjoyed a far more productive run.
That interest, however, is complicated by the wider dynamics of the deal. Any move would require negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain, who still own the player’s rights, and relations between PSG and Juventus are understood to be strained.
This has cast doubt over the feasibility of a January agreement, even with all parties aware that Kolo Muani’s current situation in England is far from ideal.
Juventus’ interest is rooted in tangible evidence. During the second half of last season, Kolo Muani flourished in Italy, scoring ten goals and providing three assists across 22 appearances in all competitions.
His blend of movement, pace and physical presence appeared well suited to Serie A, where he operated with greater confidence and consistency.
