Spanish football icon Andrés Iniesta is getting closer of finalizing deal to join Morocco’s technical bench ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico this summer.
The former Barcelona and Spain midfielder retired in October 2024 after a remarkable 22-year playing career.

According to Radio Catalunya, Iniesta has recently held talks with officials from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation in Rabat to join the Atlas Lions’ technical team ahead of the global showpiece.
