Ivorian outfit Stade d’Abidjan have completed the acquisition of Malian international attacker Boubacar Traoré in the current transfer window.
While awaiting the resumption of the league, clubs are strengthening their squads, with Stade d’Abidjan no exception.
However, the Ivorian outfit has secured the signature of Mali forward Boubacar Traoré on a one-and-a-half-year contract.
He joins directly from Oman Club and is expected to play a huge role for the club, who are seeking promotion to the Ivorian top-flight.
“Stade d’Abidjan is pleased to announce the signing of Malian international striker Traoré Boubacar from Oman Club (1st division). The player has signed for a year and a half” wrote the club.
Meanwhile, Stade d’Abidjan is preparing intensively for the resumption of the championship following the closure of the AFCON tournament in Morocco.
Stade d’Abidjan, founded in 1936 play their home games at the Stade Municipal d’Abidjan, which has a capacity of around 10,000 spectators.
Having won six title in the top-flight, the club will be seeking for a return to the Premier League as soon as possible.
