Egyptian international Mohammed Salah has denied himself rest to participate in the Champions League clash against Marseille.
The Premier League club takes on the Frecnh football powerhouse in a high-stake clash on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
Salah joined his teammates for training on Tuesday following his return from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where enjoyed a remarkable tournament with Egypt. He scored four goals, while the Egyptian national team finished fourth in the competition.
The forward was named in Liverpool squad for the match, having denied himself rest despite his long career with Egypt.
Salah has not played for the Reds since the win against Brighton at Anfield when he came on as a substitute in the first half and put on a standout performance.
He is expected to play a role as Liverpool takes on Marseille in highly competitive clash this evening.
Salah has scored 5 goals and provided four assists in 20 appearances for Liverpool this season, and the 33-year-old has failed to score since facing Aston Villa on November 1 in the English Premier League.
