Italian outfit Napoli have set sights on securing the services of Morocco international Youssef En-Nesyri in the current winter transfer window.
The former Sevilla forward is high on Napoli’s lists, with the Italian club expected to intensify negotiations for his services after the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco.
Napoli, who are seeking to augment their attack intends to accelerate talks with Fenerbahce for the signing of the forward. The Turkish giants is willing to discuss his loan move until the end of the season, provided they receive at least 5 million euros for the temporary deal.
The enterprising attacker has racked up seven goals in 15 appearances for Fenerbahce in the Turkish top-flight this season.
At the ongoing AFCON 2025 tournament, En-Nesyri has made six appearances for the Moroccan national team, all as a substitute.
En-Nesyri scored the decisive penalty against Nigeria that sent Morocco to the Africa Cup of Nations final.
Morocco will play against Senegal in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations, in a match that will be held at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
The final match will be officiated by Congolese referee Jean-Jacques Ndala, who previously officiated the opening match between Morocco and Comoros.
