Senegal legend El Hadji Diouf has urged the players to strive and win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title over Morocco.
In a high-stake clash on Sunday evening at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, the Taranga Lions will take on the Atlas Lions in the final of the continental showpiece, with victory crucial to securing the title.
Senegal won the 2021 AFCON title in Cameroon and are looking forward to securing their second continental accolade this time.
Ahead of the clash, Diouf has urged the players to strive for the title at the expense of their Moroccan counterparts.
“Everyone wants to beat us, whether in a friendly match, the Africa Cup of Nations, or the World Cup, because we are at the top and we have the best players. I asked the players to continue playing and enjoy the final match.”

Besides, the former Liverpool star has downplayed pressure ahead of the titanic clash against Morocco.
