Moroccan outfit Olympique Safi have completed the acquisition of Wydad AC shot stopper Youssef Mouti in the current transfer window.
The enterprising goalkeeper joins Olympique Safi on a two-year deal from fellow Moroccan outfit, Wydad AC.
Mouti announced his departure from Wydad on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, bringing an end to his four-year spell at the club. He is now set for a new challenge at Olympique Safi.
Moti had previously featured for several Moroccan clubs, including Wydad Temara, Union Casablanca, and Chabab Mohammedia, before joining Wydad Casablanca in the summer transfer window of 2022.
The goalkeeper opted for a change of scenery and sought a team that would offer him regular playing time, having fallen out of favour with coach Mohamed Amine Benhachem, who preferred Mehdi Benabid.
Olympique Safi has made a number of strong signings, pending official announcement, with the aim of getting back on track, returning to winning ways, moving away from the bottom of the table, and progressing as far as possible in the CAF Confederation Cup.
