German-born forward of Ghanaian descent, Christian Conteh, is on the verge of completing a move from Eintracht Braunschweig to Bundesliga side FC Heidenheim, with the transfer expected to be finalised next week.
The 26-year-old winger has enjoyed a productive season with Braunschweig, featuring in 18 competitive matches across all competitions.
During that spell, Conteh has contributed five goals and three assists, performances that have caught the attention of Heidenheim as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
With the deal in place, Heidenheim are set to add an experienced and versatile attacker to their squad for the coming years. Conteh’s pace and direct style are expected to provide added depth and quality in the final third.
According to Sky Sport, the transfer agreement has already been reached, with Conteh scheduled to undergo a medical examination on Monday.
The fee is reported to be around €1.5 million, including performance-related bonuses, and the winger is expected to sign a contract that will keep him at the club until 2029.
