Elye Wahi is being linked with a move from Eintracht Frankfurt to Sevilla FC, with the potential transfer currently rated at a 28% likelihood.
The 22-year-old centre-forward, who holds both French and Ivorian nationality, is the subject of growing speculation as Sevilla look to reshape their attacking options. Wahi’s current market value is listed at €12.00m, a figure that will form an obvious reference point in any negotiations between the Bundesliga club and the La Liga side. With no contract expiry date publicly detailed, the possibility of Frankfurt considering a sale – or Wahi eventually running down his deal and becoming a free agent – remains part of the discussion around his future.
Wahi only joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Olympique Marseille, having earlier moved within Ligue 1 from RC Lens after emerging at Montpellier HSC. His value has declined from a peak of €40m during his Lens spell to its current €12m in Frankfurt, according to the latest update in December 2025, underlining how the German club may be more open to listening to offers. The forward, who stands at 1.84m and operates primarily through the middle, is regarded as a direct attacker with a right-footed preference and experience in Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga.
Born in Courcouronnes on 2 January 2003, Wahi progressed through youth sides at Montpellier and FC Montfermeil before breaking into senior football. His career trajectory has already taken him from French youth teams to high-profile moves in France and Germany, and a switch to La Liga would add another major European league to his CV.
Should Sevilla decide to formalise their interest and Frankfurt agree to a deal, the transfer could offer Wahi a fresh platform to rebuild his market value and redefine his reputation at the top level of European football.
