Yassine Benhattab is being linked with a move from Ligue 1 side FC Nantes to Ligue 2 outfit Guingamp, with the probability of a deal currently rated at 63% according to transfer data.

The 23-year-old right winger, valued at €1.80m, is the subject of growing speculation over his future after a rapid rise in his market value over the past two seasons. While no agreement has been announced and there is no confirmation of contract terms, the current level of probability suggests the move is being taken seriously by both observers and data analysts.

Benhattab only recently returned to Nantes from a loan spell at SC Aubagne Air Bel, having moved back and forth between the two French clubs during the 2024-25 season. With his contract situation at Nantes not specified and no expiry date listed, there remains the possibility that he could move on under relatively flexible conditions, including the scenario of becoming a free agent at some stage if no long-term deal is secured.

Born in Marseille on 18 November 2002, Benhattab holds both French and Algerian nationality and operates primarily as an attacking right winger, cutting in from the flank on his preferred left foot. Standing at 1.70m, he has built his career through the French system, featuring for FC Chamois Niort’s youth and B teams before a spell without a club in 2022, then rebuilding his reputation at Aubagne.

His market value has fluctuated notably, rising from €300,000 at Aubagne in late 2024 to €2m shortly after his move to Nantes in 2025, before settling at €1.80m in December 2025. That trajectory will be closely watched by Guingamp, who could see him as a comparatively affordable option to add pace and creativity in wide areas.

If the transfer does materialise, a switch to Guingamp could offer Benhattab regular minutes in Ligue 2 and a platform to reshape both his career path and his standing in French and Algerian football circles.
