'It's not my place to answer' – Khvicha Kvaratskhelia refuses to comment on Mohamed Salah’s future

PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has declined to comment on reports linking Liverpool star Mohamed Salah with a move to the European champions.

Speaking in Al-Rayyan ahead of PSG’s Intercontinental Cup clash against Flamengo, Kvaratskhelia was asked about the possibility of Salah joining him in Paris.

“It’s not my place to talk about his future,” he said. “Salah at PSG? He’s a great player, I wish him the best, but it’s not my place to answer.”

The Georgian forward instead focused on his team’s immediate objective, stressing the importance of winning the Intercontinental Cup.

“Every title counts, it’s our last chance to win something this season. Qatar is PSG’s second home, it will be a special match in an incredible atmosphere,” Kvaratskhelia added. “We will have to be 100% ready.”

Salah, 33, has spent six and a half years at Liverpool, joining the club in the summer of 2017.

During his time at Anfield, he has made 420 appearances, scoring 250 goals and providing 116 assists.

The Egyptian’s current contract with the Reds runs until June 2027, though recent tensions with Liverpool management have sparked speculation over his future.

Kvaratskhelia, however, remained cautious, choosing to concentrate on PSG’s preparations and refusing to engage in transfer talk.

With the Intercontinental Cup final imminent, PSG will hope their winger’s focus translates into a strong performance against Flamengo in front of a passionate crowd in Qatar.

The match represents an opportunity for PSG to claim silverware before the winter break, emphasizing Kvaratskhelia’s commitment to the team over off-field speculation.
