AFCON 2025: Tunisia coach Sami Trabelsi unveils final squad for tournament

Tunisia head coach Sami Trabelsi has officially unveiled his 28-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, setting the tone for an exciting and highly competitive campaign.

The 35th edition of the continental showpiece has been scheduled to take place in Morocco between December 2025 and January 2026, with 24 countries set to battle it out for the covetous trophy

Few days to the tournament, Sami Trabelsi has announced his squad, with several top players including Elias Saad (Augsburg), Elias Achouri (FC Copenhagen), and Hazem Mastouri making the cut.

The Carthage Eagles will compete in Group C, one of the tournament’s toughest groups, alongside Nigeria, Uganda, and Tanzania.

The tournament will run from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, with Tunisia aiming to make a deep run as they chase continental glory.
