Nigeria legend Sunday Oliseh hint at potential Real Madrid move for Victor Osimhen

Former Nigeria international Sunday Oliseh has hinted at a potential Real Madrid move for Super Eagles star, Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen was a top transfer target for several European clubs including Manchester United and Chelsea, but ended up joining Galatasaray on a permanent deal.

In a breakout season, Osimhen racked up 37 goals in 41 appearances for Galatasaray during his loan spell before joining the club on a permanent switch in the summer.

Since joining Galatasaray on a permanent deal, the former Napoli attacker outstanding, racking up crucial goals for the team.

After scoring 37 goals in 41 games in a breakout season, Osimhen returned to Galatasaray in the summer and has continued to shine for both club and country.

However, Oliseh, has hinted at a possible Real Madrid move for the former Napoli star in subsequent windows.

“There’s a lot of talk about Osimhen potentially joining Real Madrid. I won’t say how I got this information, but I’ve been told he’s going. We’ll see what happens, but when I heard it from a prominent figure in Nigeria, I was very happy for the young man.” He said.

Osihmen is expected to join the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be staged in Morocco between December 2025 and January 2026.
