Arsenal have begun closely tracking Japanese-Ghanaian goalkeeper Zion Suzuki as competition grows among Europe’s elite for the highly rated Parma star.

Despite currently being sidelined with a broken hand that will keep him out for around three months, the 23-year-old’s profile continues to rise, with Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and AC Milan also expressing interest.

Suzuki has impressed in Serie A this season, registering three clean sheets in 11 appearances and showcasing the technical abilities that align with Arsenal’s long-term goalkeeping philosophy.

The Gunners see him as a potential challenger to David Raya, and Parma are bracing themselves for significant transfer activity once he returns to full fitness.

Arsenal’s recruitment team has been active in recent months, highlighted by the signing of Ecuadorian teenage forwards Edwin and Holger Quintero from Independiente del Valle.

The talented twins will officially join the club when they turn 18 in August 2027, further signalling Arsenal’s commitment to securing top young talent for the future.
