Karim Adeyemi has been linked with a move from Borussia Dortmund to Arsenal, with online transfer indicators currently placing the likelihood of a deal at around 26%.

The Germany- and Nigeria-qualified right winger, 23, is being monitored by the Premier League club as they assess wide attacking options, according to data compiled from transfer databases. Adeyemi, who wears No 27 for Dortmund and is valued at about €60m, would represent a significant financial commitment for any suitor, and there is no suggestion yet that formal negotiations are under way.

The forward’s contractual situation at Dortmund is unclear in the available data, with no listed expiry date on his current deal. That absence has led to some speculation that his long-term future in Germany is not fully defined, and raises the theoretical possibility he could move as a free agent at some point if no extension is agreed.

Adeyemi’s rise has been rapid. Born in München on 18 January 2002 and standing 1.80m tall, he came through youth systems at Bayern München and TSV Forstenried before progressing via SpVgg Unterhaching’s youth and under-19 sides. A switch to Red Bull Salzburg in 2018, including a loan spell at feeder club FC Liefering, put him on the European radar, with his market value increasing from €1.5m as a teenager in Austria to its current €60m level at Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

A left-footed attacker whose main role is on the right wing, Adeyemi has experience in both the Austrian Bundesliga with Salzburg and the German Bundesliga with Dortmund. His international eligibility for Germany and Nigeria adds to his profile, though his current national-team listing in the data is Borussia Dortmund only.

If Arsenal decide to turn interest into a firm bid, a move to the Premier League could mark the next major step in Adeyemi’s career, potentially reshaping his reputation from rising Bundesliga talent to one of Europe’s most talked-about wide forwards.
