Moroccan-Belgian winger Chemsdine Talbi is being linked with a move from Sunderland to Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas.
The 21-year-old joined Sunderland from Club Brugge in July 2025 in a deal worth €20m and remains under contract with the Premier League club until June 2030. His current market value is listed at €25m.
Talbi has made two senior appearances for Sunderland this season, starting the EFL Cup victory in which he scored and also featuring as a substitute in the Premier League. He has not yet appeared in the Europa League for the club this campaign.
The right winger began his senior career with Club Brugge, where he won the Belgian title in 2023-24 and the Belgian Cup in 2025 before moving to England. He also helped Morocco win the Africa Cup of Nations in 2025.
Talbi has represented both Morocco and Belgium at international level and appeared five times for Morocco at the 2026 World Cup, providing one assist.
Any move to Besiktas would come little more than a year after Sunderland made Talbi one of their significant investments, while his long-term contract gives the English club a strong contractual position. He is currently part of Sunderland’s squad as the club continues its Premier League campaign.
