Morocco’s U-17s prepare for crucial New Caledonia clash
Morocco’s under-17 national team is working very hard in Doha as they get ready for their third group match at the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Today, the team held a training session at the “Sub Field 10” of Al Thumama Stadium, focusing on physical recovery after their very difficult match against Portugal.
Coach Nabil Baha led drills aimed at regaining player energy and morale. Despite back-to-back defeats, falling 2-0 to Japan and suffering a heavy 6-0 loss to Portugal, the squad is determined to regroup. Their next match, vital for their hopes, is scheduled for Sunday, November 9th, at Aspire Academy, with kickoff at 4:30 p.m. Doha time (2:30 p.m. in Morocco).
The task ahead is tough, but the young Moroccan players are committed to making the most of this World Cup stage. They are striving to restore pride after earlier setbacks and show the spirit and potential of Morocco’s rising generation in international football.
