CAF Champions League: We are approaching group stage with great motivation – FC Saint Éloi Lupopo

Spokesperson of FC Saint Éloi Lupopo, Daniel Ndongo, says they are approaching their CAF Champions League games with great motivation.

The Congolese have been housed in Group B alongside Mamelodi Sundowns, Al-Hilal Al-Ubayyid and MC Alger.

“We are approaching this Champions’ League group stage with great motivation. The draw has given us exciting challenges against Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Hilal, and MC Alger,” Ndongo told Pan-Africa Football.

“Every match will be an intense battle and an opportunity for our players to excel. We are ready to make history together and thrill our fans.

“The fact that we played and eliminated Al Merreikh and Orlando Pirates, the two rivals of our opponents in the group stage, makes us believe, and we go there with a lot of humility.”

Lupopo booked a place in the CAF Champions League group phase after eliminating Merrikh SC and Orlando Pirates.
