UCL: Bukayo Saka scores to inspire Arsenal to thump Slavia Prague 3-0
English forward of Nigerian descent, Bukayo Sako, was on target for Arsenal on Tuesday night, leading the team to a 3-0 victory over Slavia Prague in the UEFA Champions League.
The English side, despite playing away from home, started the game strongly and took control of the contest very well.
Their first opportunity to score came after the half-hour mark when there were shouts for a penalty kick.
After a VAR review in the 31st minute, Arsenal were awarded a penalty, which Saka confidently converted with a precise strike into the bottom right corner past Jakub Markovic.
Just seconds after the restart, Leandro Trossard delivered a superb lofted cross that found Mikel Merino, who finished neatly inside the left post to make it 2-0.
Merino struck again in the 68th minute, this time heading home Declan Rice’s pinpoint cross from close range to seal an emphatic 3-0 win for the visitors.
The win means Arsenal are unbeaten in their first four matches of the UEFA Champions League this season, picking up 12 points in the process.
