Cameroon coach Marc Brys sticking to style ahead of must-win World Cup qualifier against Angola

Head coach of the Cameroonian national team, Marc Brys has insisted his outfit that his outfit will not change their style ahead of their final World Cup qualifier against Angola.

In a high-stake clash, the Indomitable Lions will play host to the Palancas Negras of Angola, with victory crucial to their qualification to the biggest soccer mundial to be staged in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

The Indomitable Lions secured a 2-0 win over Mauritius on Wednesday to pile pressure on log leaders Cape Verde, who dropped points against Libya.

Currently, Cameroon sit second in Group D with 18 points, two points behind Cape Verde, who are on top of the standings after nine matches.

While expressing joy and satisfaction about the sides’ victory against Mauritius, head coach Marc Brys insists the side will not change their style against Angola.

“We played intelligently in the first half. The game could have been more vertical, but we had control. We deserved this victory. It’s good for morale and for our group standings. And there are no injuries, so we’re happy at the end,” said the national team’s bench boss.

Meanwhile, Marc Brys insists the side will stick to their style ahead of their game against Angola.

“We’ve already played against Angola and we know they’re a team that plays with a lot of speed, and boldness too. We’ll stick to our style and find their weak points. We have a few days to prepare well,” he concluded.
