Antoine Semenyo delivered a match-winning performance at the Vitality Stadium as AFC Bournemouth came from behind to defeat Fulham 3-1 in a thrilling Premier League encounter.

The visitors looked set to snatch all three points when Ryan Sessegnon finished a well-worked move from a Chukwueze pass in the 70th minute. But Bournemouth refused to surrender, and their fightback began just eight minutes later.

Semenyo levelled the score with a brilliant strike from a tight angle, threading the ball between Bernd Leno’s legs to spark wild celebrations among the home fans.

The equaliser transformed the momentum of the match. Bournemouth pushed forward relentlessly, and Semenyo turned provider soon after.

The Ghanaian forward set up Justin Kluivert, who embarked on a superb solo run before unleashing a long-range effort that beat Leno and handed Bournemouth a 2-1 lead.

Fulham threw men forward in search of a late equaliser during stoppage time, but their ambition left them vulnerable.

Bournemouth punished them on the counter-attack, with Gannon-Doak racing upfield and unselfishly squaring the ball for Semenyo to finish clinically and seal a dramatic victory.

The win continued Semenyo’s superb run of form this season. The Ghanaian international has now scored six goals and provided three assists in seven Premier League appearances, underlining his growing importance to Andoni Iraola’s side.

Bournemouth’s resilience and attacking intent in the final 20 minutes will give them confidence ahead of their next Premier League fixture, a trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on 18 October.
