Cameroonian international Jean-Charles Castelletto has revealed Al Duhail’s target for the 2025/26 Asian Champions League campaign West Zone.

In a high-stake clash on Monday evening, Qatari outfit Al Duhail will take on Saudi Arabia giants Al Ahli at Abdullah bin Halifa Stadium in Doha, in the second round of the Champions League.

And Casteletto says his outfit ambition is to secure early qualification to the knockout stage of the competition this season.

“We didn’t have enough time to prepare for the match, but we are determined to do our best to achieve the desired result. Our goal is to collect points and secure early qualification for the knockout stages.” He said ahead of the game.

Casteletto has made seven appearance for Al Duhail since joining the club in the summer transfer window. He featured in the club’s Champions League opener and is expected to be play an integral role in their second game of the campaign.

The 30-year-old defender joined Al Duhail in the summer transfer window, penning a contract that will keep him at the club until 2028.

Since making his debut for Cameroon in 2017, the defender has made 33 appearances, scoring two goals across the period.
