AS Nancy-Lorraine secured a 1-0 victory over Stade Lavallois on Friday in the 10th round of Ligue 2, with Ilyes Housni providing the decisive assist.
The match remained closely contested until the 68th minute, when the 21-year-old Moroccan forward produced the key moment. Housni supplied Zakaria Fdaouch, who finished the move to score the only goal of the game and give Nancy all three points.
The assist underlined Housni’s growing influence in Nancy’s attack. While he has shown an ability to threaten opposition goals, he has also become increasingly effective at creating opportunities for his team-mates.
His latest contribution takes his total to three assists since the start of the season. The performance against Stade Lavallois further highlighted his value to AS Nancy-Lorraine as the club continues its Ligue 2 campaign.
Housni is under contract with Nancy until June 2029 and is valued at one million euros by Transfermarkt. At 21, the Morocco international is continuing his development in Ligue 2 and will hope to maintain his impact in the club’s performances over the coming matchdays.
