2026 World Cup Qualifiers: Victory against Lesotho is a must – South Africa coach Hugo Broos
The head coach of South Africa, Hugo Broos, is pumped up ahead of his team’s clash against Lesotho.
The Bafana Bafana are set to lock horns with their counterparts from Lesotho today in a crucial game in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking ahead of the game, Hugo Broos stressed that his team will approach the contest with all seriousness, while labelling the match a must-win encounter.
“First of all, let’s start with Lesotho. I don’t want to think about Nigeria for the moment. I have seen their games in the past, and that’s enough for me for now. We will start focusing on them after the game with Lesotho.
“At this moment, the most important thing is the game against Lesotho. We must get a victory against them because if we fail to do that, we will have more troubles in the future,” the highly-rated tactician said as quoted on Nigeriasoccernet.com.
While South Africa battles Lesotho today, Nigeria’s Super Eagles are also preparing for a crunch meeting with Rwanda in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
