Senegal striker Nicolas Jackson is open to considering a move to Manchester United amid growing transfer interest from the Premier League side.
The Chelsea forward has turned down approaches from AC Milan and Napoli, with his preference being to remain in England, according to a report by The Sun.
Jackson, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal last year, is reportedly available for a fee in the region of £80 million.
Chelsea intermediaries are believed to have communicated his availability to United, who are monitoring the situation closely as they seek attacking reinforcements.
Despite being contracted to Chelsea until 2032, Jackson’s position at the club has weakened in recent weeks.
With the arrivals of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap since the end of last season, and after receiving two red cards in his last four appearances, the 23-year-old appears to have slipped out of manager Enzo Maresca’s immediate plans.
In addition to Manchester United, Aston Villa are also watching developments. Manager Unai Emery previously worked with Jackson at Villarreal and may consider a reunion depending on how the transfer window unfolds.
