Congolese midfielder Noah Sadiki has completed his move to English outfit Sunderland AFC.
The Belgium-born midfielder has been signed by the newly-promoted English Premier League outfit to provide a massive squad boost for the side.
“Off the back of a hugely successful 2024/25 season, Noah Sadiki is ready to hit the ground running after completing his move to Sunderland AFC.
“Sadiki arrives with strong pedigree and silverware success having recently made history with Union SG winning the Belgian Pro League and qualifying for the Champions League. In the previous campaign, Sadiki also won the Belgian Super Cup.
“The 20-year-old also has over a century of games under his belt and four caps for the Democratic Republic of Congo,” Sunderland AFC announced on Friday, July 4.
Speaking in his maiden interview after completing his transfer, Noah Sadiki shared his delight and stressed that after winning the Belgian League with Union SG, he is ready for a new challenge in England.
“These achievements shaped me a lot because it wasn’t easy to win the trophies. I think Union SG has brought me a lot and it’s thanks to them that I am here right now.
“I want to thank them and wish them all the luck in the Champions League. This team deserves it 90 years after winning the title. I am now ready for a new challenge,” Noah Sadiki said as quoted on the Sunderland AFC website.
