I have everything to become a big player again – Paul Pogba

France midfielder of Guinean descent, Paul Pogba has stressed that he is determined to get back to his best.

The former Manchester United star is set to return to action after signing for AS Monaco upon the expiry of his reduced 18-month ban.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, July 4, Paul Pogba said he is confident he has everything to become a top player once again.

“I hope to be even better than before because I have more desire. Here, I have everything to become a big player again […]   It is still the same Paul Pogba, perhaps a more determined one. You will see a determined Paul Pogba,” Paul Pogba said.

The Frenchman is already training with AS Monaco ahead of the commencement of the 2025/26 football season.

The Ligue 1 club believes that Pogba still has the quality and will strengthen the team for next season.

At AS Monaco, Pogba has signed a two-year contract and will be expected to play a leadership role in the team.
