RS Berkane head coach, Moine Chaabani, has hinted that their aim is to win a treble.
His remark comes after his side defeated AS FAR on a penalty shootout to book a semifinal spot in the 2025 Throne Cup.
“I greatly appreciate the effort made,” Chaabani said.
“We’ve had a fantastic journey so far. The players were extremely exhausted and didn’t get enough rest between league and Confederation Cup matches, which required long, tiring commutes.
“We are now at an advanced stage on the road to making history, and are close to achieving a third title, God willing. There is no room for complacency or retreat at this stage.
“After winning the historic league shield and the Confederation Cup with record numbers, we are now focused on the Throne Cup, after which we aspire to win the African Super Cup against Pyramids, to complete the treble before considering entering the CAF Champions League for the first time.”
Al-Shaabani concluded his message with a message of loyalty to the team’s fans, saying, “The people of Berkane have showered me with their love, and I am grateful to them and thankful for this appreciation and support.”
RS Berkane will face MA Tétouan in their semifinal game on Sunday, June 22, at the Fez Stadium. Berkane has already clinched the Moroccan topflight and the CAF Confederation Cup.
