Hakim Ziyech is seeking a fresh start after the abrupt end to his spell at Qatari side Al Duhail, with the Moroccan playmaker reportedly offering his services to several Serie A clubs as he looks to reignite a career that has recently faltered.
According to French journalist Nicolas Shera, the 31-year-old has approached three clubs in Italy’s top flight in hopes of securing a move ahead of the new season.
While details on all the interested teams remain scarce, some media outlets suggest Bologna is among the clubs Ziyech is considering.
However, there has been no official confirmation from either the player’s camp or the clubs involved.
Ziyech’s contract with Al Duhail, initially set to run until the summer of 2027, was terminated prematurely, bringing an end to a brief and largely disappointing stint in Qatar.
His exit from the Gulf came after similarly underwhelming performances during a loan spell at Galatasaray, where he struggled to make a consistent impact in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Once considered one of Africa’s most technically gifted midfielders, Ziyech’s recent club troubles have coincided with a decline in his international standing.
The former Ajax and Chelsea star has not featured for the Moroccan national team since September 2024, with head coach Walid Regragui opting to build around younger options in the squad.
