South African club Kaizer Chiefs considering selling Rwandan first-choice Keeper Fiacre Ntwari
Rwandan first-choice goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari is facing an uncertain future at South African outfit Kaizer Chiefs.
The Soweto giants are gearing up for a major squad overhaul following an inconsistent campaign, particularly in the South African top-flight.
Despite securing the South African Cup title, the leadership of the club appears not to be impressed with their performance in the recently concluded campaign and are poised to fix their wrongs to make impact next campaign.
According to reports in South Africa, Kaizer Chiefs are considering cashing in on Ntwari, who is the first-choice goalkeeper for the Rwandan national team.
The Soweto giants are ready to transfer Ntwari provided a good offer comes in for the goalkeeper.
The 25-year-old joined Kaizer Chiefs nine months ago from fellow South African outfit TS Galaxy and made an impressive start at the club. However, since October 2024, Ntwari has struggled to command a starting role, sparking speculation about his future at the club.
Ntwari made just seven appearances in the recently concluded season for Kaizer Chiefs, conceding eleven goals and keeping just a clean sheet.
Kaizer Chiefs are currently in the hunt of a new goalkeeper and has lined up Stanley Nwabali (Chippa United) and Toaster Nsabata (Zesco United, Zambia).
