Galatasaray signal strong intent to keep Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen after title-winning campaign

Manchester United will reportedly have to sell one or two of its stars to have the funds to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

The English Premier League giants are one of the several clubs looking at signing the Super Eagles sensation this summer.

Manchester United are said to be in a bad situation financially after failing to win a major silverware in the 2024/25 football season.

It is understood that the club will need to sell either Marcus Rashford or talisman Bruno Fernandes to have the funds to go after Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen is wrapping up a loan spell with Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray.

The 26-year-old has already helped the club to win the Turkish Super Lig in a season where he has scored over 25 goals in all competitions.

His parent club, SSC Napoli, are already listening to offers for the forward as they hope to earn at least 75 million euros from his sale.

Saudi Club Al Hilal are ready to pay a whopping 100 million euros to sign Osimhen and are currently leading the race to sign the in-demand forward.

It will take a lot for Manchester United to sign the forward this summer, especially when his annual salary is expected to skyrocket from 12 million euros to 15 million euros.
