Head coach of Kaizer Chiefs Nasreddine Nabi has opened up on the club’s plans heading into the summer transfer window.
The South African Premier League season has ended, with Kaizer Chiefs finishing mid-table. Despite their Cup triumph, the Soweto outfit endured an inconsistent campaign in the Premier League.
However, Kaizer Chiefs are looking forward to strengthening their squad for next season as they seek to make impact.
According to Nabi, the leadership of the club is aware of what needs to be done regarding the squad. Despite being tight-lipped, Nabi disclosed a possible summer acquisitions.
“I won’t say how many or which players we need, but the scouting department is working extremely hard, they know what the team requires, and we are already in close contact. We hope that once we get what we need, the team will improve significantly.
The management is already aware. We’ve had several meetings, and they know what needs to be done and which positions need to be strengthened,” Nabi told iDiski Times.
