Spain international of Ghanaian descent Nico Williams has emerged as a top transfer target for Real Madrid heading into the summer transfer window.

Madrid, considered as the greatest club in history is heading into a jam-packed summer, as the club prepare for the acquisition of Williams.

According to Marca, the Spanish giants are seriously weighing up a move for the Athletic Bilbao star in an attempt to strengthen their attack for the upcoming campaign.

Madrid see him as a player of the highest caliber and are willing to pay his release clause, which stands at €58 million.

At Real Madrid, Nico Williams could serve as a replacement for Brazilian forward Rodrygo, who is reportedly unhappy with his current status in the squad.

Previously, Barcelona had shown interest in Williams, but eventually shifted their focus to other targets.

This season, Nico Williams has tallied 11 goals and 7 assists across 44 matches in all competitions.
