Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha has shared his excitement following Crystal Palace success in the FA Cup competition this season.
The Eagles secured their first major silverware at the weekend after inflicting a narrow victory over Manchester City. Eberechi Eze’s early strike was enough for the Eagles to snatch victory over their opponent, deepening the woes of Pep Guardiola’s outfit this campaign.
Having missed out on the FA Cup title, Manchester City will have nothing to show at the end of the current season.
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have booked a place in the UEFA Europa League next season following their FA Cup success this season.
Zaha, who now plays for Charlotte in Canada, shared his thoughts on his former team’s remarkable achievement.
“I feel like the club deserve it! The fans deserve it!” said Wilfried Zaha.
The 32-year-old featured for Crystal Palace between 2015 and 2023 and contributed his quota to the club before departing for a new challenge.
