Zed FC’s general coach Adel Mostafa believes Al Ahly have the edge in this season’s Egyptian Premier League race, crediting their current setup and fresh drive as key advantages in the title push.
Speaking in a radio interview, Mostafa said, “Al-Ahly is closest to winning the Premier League championship as long as there is a point difference between it and Pyramids. The Red Team has good motivations to win the league, including the presence of a new technical staff led by Emad El-Nahhas, and a sports director worthy of Mohamed Youssef, which created new motivations for the players, and that there is a spirit for Al-Ahly players inside the stadium.”
He described this league season as one of the most exciting in recent memory, with fierce competition across the table keeping the campaign alive.
Mostafa added: “Moroccan Ashraf Ben Chergui is a great player and a strong addition, and he has played in big teams like Zamalek and Wydad, and he has special abilities and can score goals at any time.”
He praised Al Ahly’s new coach, Jose Riveiro, highlighting his passion and managerial potential.
