Lamine Yamal already one of the best players in the world – Messi

Lamine Yamal And Messi

Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi has hailed Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal as “already one of the best players in the world,” praising the 17-year-old’s rapid rise and exceptional talent.

Yamal, who has Equatoguinean and Moroccan heritage, has emerged as one of the brightest prospects in European football.

Born in Spain to an Equatoguinean mother and a Moroccan father, his multicultural background adds to his unique identity on and off the pitch.

In an interview with Simplemente Fútbol, Messi expressed his admiration for the young winger’s performances this season.

“What Lamine Yamal is showing is impressive,” said the 37-year-old.

“He is still only 17 years old, he is in a development process, and he will continue to grow as a player and add things to his game.”

“But he has incredible qualities and is already one of the best players in the world.”

Yamal has been instrumental for Barcelona this season, contributing 14 goals and 21 assists in 45 appearances.

His performances have not only solidified his place in the first team but have also drawn comparisons to Messi’s early years at the club.
