Switzerland international of Cameroon descent Breel Embolo is facing an uncertain future at AS Monaco as the summer transfer window approaches.
The 28-year-old joined the French outfit in 2022 and has since established himself as key member of the club.
With his contract set to expire in 2026, Embolo has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich. Since he has yet to sign a new deal with Monaco, the Swiss-Cameroonian attacker will be subjected to transfer speculations.
Embolo has scored five goals and provided four assists for Monaco in the French Ligue 1 campaign. In all competitions, the enterprising forward has racked up six goals and delivered eight assists in 36 appearances for the club.
The forward remains a key member of the Switzerland national team since making his debut in March 20215.
Since his first appearance, Embolo has racked up 16 goals from 75 appearances.
