Ghana international Mohammed Kudus has suffered an injury setback at Premeir League outfit West Ham United.
The Black Stars midfielder, who is currently carrying an injury missed the Hammers game against Wolves on Tuesday night.
In his absence, the Hammers succumbed to a 1-0 defeat against Wolves in the week 30 clash held at the Molineux Stadium.
Norway international forward Jørgen Strand Larsen broke the deadlock in the 21st-minute mark as the host went to the halftime break with the advantage. And with no additional goal in the second half, Wolves cruised to victory to merit the three maximum points at stake
Graham Potter, the manager of West Ham United confirmed the Ghanaian international missed the clash due to an injury setback.
“It was difficult, we lost Mo [Kudus to injury] yesterday and [Jean-Clair] Todibo as well, so we had to readjust quickly. We felt that Luis could help us in terms of his pace if we won the ball back. We just didn’t manage to find him enough times” he said.
Kudus has struggled to replicate his impressive debut season form, scoring only three goals and providing two assists in 27 appearances. A 13-game goal drought and a five-game suspension have further hindered his progress.
The Ghana international will be hoping to bounce back in style as the season nears an end.
