Algeria’s under-17 women’s national team has travelled to Botswana as they prepare to face the southern African side in the second round of the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The squad conducted two training sessions on Tuesday at the National Technical Center of Sidi Moussa in Algiers, according to a statement from the Algerian Football Federation (FAF).
The first session, held before ftour, lasted one hour and focused on light drills. The second session, which began at 9:30 p.m., involved the entire group following the arrival of players from Afak Relizane. This session centred on technical and tactical preparations.
The team departed for Botswana on Wednesday, where they are set to play the first leg on Saturday, March 8, at 2:00 p.m. Algerian time, at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown.
The return fixture is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 16, at 9:00 p.m. at the Mustapha Tchaker Stadium in Blida, as the Algerian side seeks to progress to the next round of the qualification campaign.
