French international of Malian descent Ibrahima Konaté is anticipating a clash between Liverpool and Paris Saint Germain in the UEFA Champions League.
The French club seeking for qualification into the last 16 of the Champions League campaign after failing to secure automatic slot.
PSG overcame Brest in the first leg of the playoff with a 3-0 win and are edging closer to qualification.
The Frencnh giants could face either Liverpool or Barcelona in the last 16 if they triumph over Brest in the second leg in Paris.
And according to Konaté, who was born and bred in Paris says it will be fantastic for Liverpool to face PSG.
“It would be fantastic for me personally because I come from there, my parents and family live there, all my friends are there. I grew up with people in Leipzig, and when it was Leipzig-PSG, they supported PSG instead of supporting me, even though I grew up with them.” He told Téléfoot.
The 25-year-old has been outstanding for Liverpool in the ongoing campaign, scoring two goals and providing two assists from 27 appearances across competitions.
