Ghanaian Teenager Travis Akomeah joins Watford from Chelsea

England defender of Ghanaian descent, Travis Akomeah has completed his move to Championship side Watford.

The deal has been completed today, Monday, February 3, following successful talks.

Travis Akomeah, 19, has sealed the move to Watford after leaving Premier League club Chelsea.

At the new club, the talented teenager has signed a three-year contract and will be hoping to make an impact during his time as a Hornet.

The youngster was a regular at the start of the 2022/23 season for the Under-18s side, also making his UEFA Youth League debut.

With loads of potential, Travis Akomeah must work hard at his new club to improve his game.

Watford must also provide the platform and guidance to help the defender to develop to reach his full potential.
