Cristiano Ronaldo wins Al Nassr hearts with post-match scarf gesture

Cristiano Ronaldo strengthened his bond with Al Nassr supporters after wearing the club’s scarf during the team’s celebrations following a 3-0 victory over Al-Diriyah in the Roshn Saudi League.

The match took place on Friday at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, with the result moving Al Nassr through their eighth league fixture of the season.

Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, making his mark on a game in which Al Nassr secured a convincing win. The Portugal forward benefited from a save by Al-Diriyah goalkeeper Waleed Abdullah after Kingsley Coman struck a powerful effort.

Abdullah could only parry Coman’s shot, and the ball fell to Ronaldo in front of an unguarded goal. The Al Nassr captain made no mistake from close range.
