Premier League giant, Manchester United is planning to bid for Moroccan defender, Achraf Hakimi in the summer according to Fichajes.
According to the report, Hakimi is one of the instruments that could serve as a solution to contribute to improving the UK squad’s wing-back system.
Hakimi has been a key player for PSG in the French Ligue 1 and the Moroccan national team, with which he takes part in prestigious tournaments.
He has boldly sported the Atlas Lion jersey during the AFCON as well as World Cup competitions.
However, the question remains whether Hakimi will leave France for the English Premier League.
Hakimi’s goal and hard work reflect his desire to be ready if he is also ever called by Real Madrid, his dream club.
In 2023, sports news outlet L’Equipe said the Atlas Lion was still interested in joining the Bernabeu.
Hakimi’s contract is set to expire by 2026 and despite the strong interest from Manchester United, PSG is expected to officialize his contract extension until 2029, with a big potential salary increase.
