Kylian Mbappé’s goal secures Real Madrid’s victory over Salzburg

Kylian Mbappé sealed Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over RB Salzburg in the Champions League on Wednesday with a brilliant third goal.

The match was already well in Madrid’s favor after Rodrygo Goes scored twice, in the 23rd and 34th minutes.

In the second half, a quick clearance from Thibaut Courtois found Rodrygo, who set up Mbappé.

Though Salzburg’s goalkeeper initially got to the ball, a mishit touch allowed Mbappé to pounce and finish into an empty net.

The goal effectively ended the contest and confirmed Madrid’s dominance.

Mbappé’s sharp instincts and clinical finish capped off a strong team performance, with Real Madrid securing a comfortable victory on matchday seven.
