Nigeria international Alex Iwobi has reached a new milestone of his career in the English Premier League.
The 28-year-old midfielder is a product of Arsenal but failed to establish himself as a key player for the Gunners, leading to his departure to Everton 2019.
Since leaving Arsenal, Iwobi has had spells with Everton and Fulham in the Premier League.
He joined Fulham in 2023 for €25.70 million transfer fee and has since established himself as a key cog to the team.
Iwobi is making his 50th appearance in the Premier League for Fulham against Ipswich Town, propelling him to a new milestone.
The enterprising midfielder becomes the fifth African footballer to mark over 50 appearances for three different clubs in the Premier League.
He joins an elite list that includes Nwankwo Kanu (Arsenal, Portsmouth, West Bromwich), El Hadji Diouf (Bolton, Blackburn, Liverpool), Yakubu Aiyegbeni (Everton, Middlesbrough, Portsmouth), and Mohamed Diamé (Wigan, West Ham, Newcastle).
