Spanish outfit have opened talks with AS Roma in an attempt to secure the services of Mali youngster Aboubacar Sangaré Traoré.
The Spanish outfit are in market for a solid and quality right-back as they seek to strengthen their squad in the second transfer window.
Valencia are believed to have identified Sangare as a perfect right-back to augment their squad in their bid to turn things around following a struggling start to the campaign.
According to reports, Valencia intends to secure the 18-year-old on loan in January with an option of making the deal permanent in summer.
Meanwhile, the Spanish outfit are said to be monitoring Alex Jimenez of AC Milan and will make a move should Sangare’s move fell through.
Sangare was born and raised in Elche and joined Roma last summer from Levante for €1.7m.
The 18-year-old has Malian root and is eligible to represent them at the international level despite featuring for the Spanish youth national teams.
His current contract with AS Roma is expected to expire in the summer of 2027.
