Felix Nmecha’s future is one of the hottest topics in football right now, with a growing list of Premier League suitors ready to pounce.
The 24-year-old midfielder has caught the attention of top English clubs, including Manchester United, Newcastle, Chelsea, and Aston Villa. Scouts from these clubs were notably present at Borussia Dortmund’s home clash against Bayern Munich on November 30, where Nmecha impressed during the 1-1 draw at Signal Iduna Park.
According to CaughtOffside, both Manchester United and Newcastle are keen to secure the young talent, with positive feedback flooding in from their recent scouting efforts. Borussia Dortmund, however, is reportedly holding out for a transfer fee in the range of €40-45 million for Nmecha, a player they signed for €30 million.
The son of a German mother and a Nigerian father, Nmecha and his older brother Lukas were born in Hamburg but moved to England in 2007. With his contract at Dortmund running until 2028, it remains uncertain whether BVB will part ways with such a valuable asset at a relatively modest fee.
