Egyptian international Mohammed Salah has hinted about a possible departure from Liverpool as he nears the expiration of his contract.
Salah is in the final year of his contract and has since not being offered a new contract at the club.
The Egyptian was on target when Liverpool cruised to a 2-0 win over Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
And speaking after the game, Salah hinted it could be his last meeting against the Citizens at Anfield.
“It’s very special,” he told Sky Sports. “I don’t take it for granted. I’m enjoying every minute here, it feels like home, so it’s a special feeling always, scoring at Anfield and winning games.”
Asked whether it could be his final meeting with City at Anfield, Salah confessed: “Honestly it’s in my head. Until now, this is the last City game I will play for Liverpool so I was just going to enjoy it.
“The atmosphere was incredible so I will enjoy every second here. Hopefully we just win the league and will see what will happen.”
The 32-year-old winger has been outstanding since joining Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from AS Roma.
Salah has been Liverpool’s main man this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists in 12 appearances in the English Premier League.
