Egypt to host annual world club association meeting with prominent football leaders
Egypt is set to host the prestigious annual meeting of the World Club Association (WCA) later this month, marking a significant event in the global football calendar.
The meeting will take place on November 14-15 in the iconic area surrounding the Pyramids, with over 35 countries expected to participate.
Among the key figures attending will be Richard Masters, the Chairman of the World League Association and Chief Executive of the Premier League, Luigi De Siervo, the CEO of the Italian League, and Javier Tebas, the President of La Liga in Spain.
These influential leaders from some of the biggest football leagues in the world will gather to discuss pressing matters in the sport.
The focus of the annual meeting will include discussions on the evolution of football, the latest changes to regulations, and the future direction of club football worldwide.
This event is expected to foster collaboration between leading football organizations and provide a platform for addressing the challenges facing clubs in an increasingly globalized and commercialized sport.
United Sports Company, which is overseeing the event, has confirmed that this high-level gathering will bring together influential figures from various football associations and clubs to shape the future of the sport.
Key topics likely to be discussed include financial sustainability, player welfare, international competition formats, and the growth of football outside of Europe.
As Egypt continues to establish itself as a hub for international sporting events, this meeting promises to be an important moment for the global football community.
With some of the most powerful leaders in football set to attend, the discussions held could have a lasting impact on the sport’s future at both the domestic and international levels.
